A New Dawn for Health Knowledge in Africa

Yem is a Frafra (Northern Ghana) word meaning knowledge. Amaachi is derived from an Ewe (Eastern Ghana) word meaning medicine. Maachi is also Twi (Southern Ghana) phrase meaning good morning. Together, this conveys the meaning of our name Yemaachi: A new dawn for health knowledge in Africa.
